Autosave, teammates, and version history

Work together while keeping a recoverable record of the design.

Work with teammates

  1. Open the same map from the same organization’s Event maps library using separate authorized accounts.
  2. Use the named cursors and presence avatars to see who is working in the map.
  3. Coordinate edits to the same object so changes remain easy to understand.
  4. Watch the save indicator. Wait for All changes saved before closing the editor.

Save states

Saving means an update is in progress. All changes saved means the current acknowledged design has reached the cloud. An error or unsaved state needs attention; keep the tab open and read the recovery options.

If the editor offers Download my changes after a save problem, keep that copy before choosing to replace your edits with the latest cloud version. Loading the latest version can discard local changes.

Restore a previous version

  1. Open Version history in the mapper toolbar.
  2. Review the version number, author, and save time.
  3. Choose Restore for the version you need and read the in-app confirmation.
  4. Confirm only if you want to replace the current design. The restored content is saved as a new version; previous history remains available.
  5. Review the restored map and wait for saving to finish.

Versions and attendee bookings

Restoring a design does not roll back ticket purchases or automatically replace a live booking layout. Follow the draft-event booking-map workflow when an eligible event’s booking layout also needs to change.
