Add a ticket type
- Open the Tickets step or tab of the event.
- Give the ticket a clear name and set its price and available quantity.
- Choose whether it is general admission or seated. For seated tickets, assign matching seats in the event mapper.
- Review the ticket preview and any booking conditions.
- Save and check the event’s public ticket options.
Capacity and assigned seats
General admission controls how many tickets can be booked without individual seat assignments. A seated ticket type needs available seats connected to that event ticket type. Drawing chairs on a map alone does not make them bookable.
Protect existing bookings
Ticket types with purchases or protected bookings cannot simply be removed. Capacity reductions and layout changes must preserve existing commitments. If a change is refused, read the validation message rather than creating a replacement that would invalidate guests’ tickets.
Prices and deadlines
Check the currency and total from an attendee’s perspective. For direct-payment bookings, choose a payment deadline that gives guests enough time while preventing unpaid orders from tying up availability indefinitely. Existing orders retain their original payment instructions.
