Choose how people attend
Open events need no registration. RSVP events collect one registration per VenuDash account. Free ticketed events use ticket types and issued tickets at no charge. Paid or mixed events use the existing ticket checkout. Once bookings exist, the participation mode is locked.
Public events appear in discovery. Unlisted events are available to anyone with their link. Private events require an allowed account or email address. Add allowed emails under Registration and share the link separately; adding access does not send an invitation or reserve a place.
Build and publish
- Open your event dashboard, choose Tickets & registration (or Registration), then press Edit settings.
- Set capacity, automatic confirmation or manual approval, registration dates, waitlist limits, QR entry passes and attendee cancellation.
- Add questions, choices and conditional follow-up questions. Full name and email stay fixed as VenuDash account properties. Use Preview form to check the attendee experience.
- Save changes when ready. Existing answers retain their original question version; saving a draft does not publish it.
Review attendees
Owners and managers can use Attendees to search and filter registrations, inspect answers and status history, approve or decline requests, and resend status emails. Confirm selected approves a batch only if all selected places can be allocated safely.
Confirming a waitlisted guest uses the same capacity check as a new confirmation. Cancellation revokes admission. Confirmed RSVP guests appear in the live check-in guest list alongside ticket holders; duplicate entry is rejected.
CSV exports contain personal details and answers, up to 10,000 registrations. Store them securely and only share them with authorized staff.
